Ms Sabeen Bashwani has been appointed as the Alumni Relations Coordinator in the Department of Community Relations. She has taken over from Ms Shellina Karmali, who left the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ in October.
Sabeen brings seven years of experience in talent management and employee engagement. In her role at the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡, Sabeen will be responsible for all activities related to ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ alumni, including support for their continued intellectual and professional development as well as endeavours to enhance alumni engagement with the Institute.
Sabeen received her Bachelor of Commerce from University of Karachi and an MBA in Human Resource Management from SZAB Institute of Science and Technology, Karachi. She is currently working towards her Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Development from the Chartered Institute of Professional Development. Prior to joining the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡, Sabeen worked in various HR roles at Roche Pharmaceuticals, both in Pakistan and in the UK. She has also been a visiting faculty at SZAB Institute of Science and Technology, where she taught a Personnel Management course.
