²Ï³Ü°ù’a²Ôic Studies Unit
The Institute of Ismaili Studies embarked on ²Ï³Ü°ù’a²Ôic Studies in 2000 with a view to promoting scholarship on the plurality of traditions inspired by the ²Ï³Ü°ù’a²ÔMuslims believe that the Holy ²Ï³Ü°ù’a²Ô contains divine revelations to the Prophet Muhammed received in Mecca and Medina over a period of 23 years in the early 7th century CE. More which have developed in Muslim history and up to the present time. By conducting research into and teaching about these interpretive traditions, the Institute aims to advance knowledge about the entire spectrum of traditional sources and, indirectly, to advance the acceptance of pluralism in the Islamic world.

This series aims to make some of the ²Ï³Ü°ù’a²Ôic commentaries and interpretation materials from a broad chronological range available to a wider readership through translation and publication in English.
