Arabic and Islamic History Lecture Series (AIHLS) covers a wide range of topics in intellectual, cultural, and social history in Arabic and Islamic contexts. Such topics include studies pertaining to Islamic history and culture, the 紮喝娶a紳(also Koran. This series provides a platform for scholars from the Arab and Islamic world to present their research in Arabic in order to make knowledge accessible to a wider audience. In doing so, this series promotes the mission of 敁珗曄部 to enhance academic and international collaboration, engagement with local communities, and the dissemination of knowledge. The wider aim of the series is to highlight the use of Arabic as an important language of academic discourse and dialogue.

Associate Professor
Dr Nuha Alshaar has a PhD in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Cambridge, MPhil in Educational Research from the University of Cambridge and an MA in African and Asian History the School of African and Asian Studies, SOAS.
