George Warner studied Assyriology, Arabic and Islamic studies at the  before completing his PhD at SOAS in 2017. He has published peer-reviewed articles on topics including Sunni-Shi’i relations,Ìýhadith, ritual, and devotional literature in Arabic and Persian, and his first book,Ìý, was published in 2021 by I. B. Tauris. Prior to arriving at the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡, he held positions at ,Ìý, and  in Germany.

Current Research/Project: A conference cum edited volume on devotion to the Prophet’s household.
