Salima Bhatia is currently Co-Head of the Department of Education at ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡. In the past she has worked for ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ as Head of the Office of Communications and Development (2016-2021).
Over the years, Salima has served in various voluntary leadership positions in the JamatAssembly or religious congregation; also a term used by the Nizari Ismailis for their individual communities. including as Chairman of the Ismaili Tariqah and Religious Education Board for the UK (2009-2015).
Salima is an alumna of the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡â€™s Graduate Programme in Islamic Studies and Humanities (GPISH class of 1999). She has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies and Business from the  (1995) and an MPhil in Social Anthropology from the  (1999). She is currently pursuing a MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling.
